CARL MARSHALL - RURAL DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Carl is employed as one of DRCC’s Rural Development Officers.

He has previously held various roles working in a community development capacity over the past 11 years. In particular Carl was employed as a Play Coordinator in the Durham City area, delivering a range of leisure activities for young people living in rural communities. He was employed as a Community Development Officer for several years, working on a range of local projects, fundraising and delivering schemes and providing support and guidance to voluntary organisations.

From 2006 Carl worked as a Regeneration Manager in the village of Pelton Fell. The role involved overseeing the physical and social regeneration of the area, working with partners on a range of projects, in particular the planning, fundraising and delivery of new community facilities for the village.
